Another increadible spring ski day!

The girls and I hooked up with Dan Kates and his youngest, Asher. The
kids giggled all day. All of them will be increadible skiiers in the
next couple of years...do we have the next Lindsey or Johnny in the
group??? Who knows, but they sure had fun today!
This picture is at the teepee in the forest of faces on the way to the
bottom at the end of the day. Couldn't be more proud of the girls.

To think, there's a high probability that we'll be skiing
tomorrow...and it's supposed to snow again next week.

The cost of "new"

Sabrina's new ride comes at the end of an era...this bike served four
kids so far. Dallas and Casey used it well, before Aunt Stacey passed
it on to us and both girls learned to ride on it. While it appears out
of commission, I will put the bars from the "new" ride on and pass it
on to some neighbors with a 2 year old that doesn't yet have his own
big kid bike. Who knows how many kids (and parents) it will touch
before retiring. Hopefully many. Thank you Greene family for the great
bike!

A quick test ride

...don't worry grandparents, helmets are required equipment at all times...except when daddy is more excited than the girls!

New Ride

Check out Sabrina's new ride! Got it for $20 on craigslist, two new tires ($11 each), new grips ($10), sweet training wheels from Jilli's bike (won't need them long, 1 month at the outside...mark my words), free used saddle the (woman) bike tech at REI gave me (love that company and the staff's attitude, mcgyver'd saddle bracket to post, swapped bars from the mongoose hand-me-down, and some TLC. Sabrina is so excited, almost as much as me! Didn't save as much as I was hoping, but managed to score one against the disposable society we have become and end up with a nice "new" ride for one of our precious angels.

Spring Break!

We've had a fabulous week so far and we're only half way through! We
are lucky to enjoy a couple days of great weather starting today.
Check back soon to check out Sabrina's "new" ride which she'll be
taking for a spin tomorrow (hopefully).

The Easter Bunny came!

The girls each found a dozen eggs this morning, they made quick work
of it too.

"Practice Easter Egg Hunt"

We took the girls down for the community Easter egg hunt this morning.
They were first in line and each got a dozen of the probably 500 eggs
that were hidden for 40 or so kids. BUT, they know that this was just
warm up for when the Easter Bunny really comes and they get to hunt
the "real" eggs tomorrow!

Happy Easter!

Jillian explained to me that's "it's raining eggs."
